NAKEEL DEVELOPS NEW LUXURY HOTEL IN DJIBOUITI

Nakheel Hotel & Resorts has developed the Djibouti Palace Kempinski – one of the best hotels in Africa

Situated in a prime beach-front location between the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean, under 10 minutes from Ambouli International Airport, the Djibouti Palace Kempinski is one of Africa’s best kept secrets and offers visitors a wealth of stunning natural sites to explore. Safaris are the oppportunity to see Lake Assal’s stunning volcanic formations or the flamingos on Lake Abbé. Virgin beaches are the starting point for some exceptional scuba diving or snorkelling in the Devil’s Cauldron in the Gulf of Tadjoura, where whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins and grey reef sharks can be spotted between October and January, or the Seven Brothers Islands, popular from January to May for the island system’s stunning soft coral reefs attracting schooling fish.

The Djibouti Palace Kempinski includes 177 rooms and suites, and a state-of-the-art conference centre, with a grand ballroom for up to 1,100 guests, meeting room and presentation facilities, and the latest communications infrastructure. There are four a la carte restaurants, including a unique pan-African offering at the Lake Assal Restaurant, landscaped gardens and full beach facilities, a spa, a sports bar and lobby lounge, and wireless internet throughout the hotel.

When fully complete, the hotel will have up to 300 rooms, fitness and entertainment centres, a nightclub and the exemplary standards of service for which Kempinski is renowned.
